The Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Aveiro’s Meeting (MIRAM 2019) aims to bring together the fields of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy under the motto “Growing together”, boosting research and clinical practice development in this field.
Multidisciplinarity is a prominent feature characterizing the constant technological development and the consequent clinical impact of Medical Imaging in diagnostic and therapeutic contexts. Studying what we can call the life cycle of an imaging study, we find a variety of players that need to be recognized. Therefore, the event is intended to promote an interdisciplinary culture in this comprehensive field and the development of a scientific and partnership network between different players (students, technicians, clinicians, students, researchers and industries).
In the framework of the multidisciplinary spirit cherished by the University of Aveiro, we propose a scientific program that we believe will meet the most diverse expectations.
